- Anonycon ran three TARGA-sponsored games in 2009 - Tavis's "Hidden Secrets of Tamoachan" (AD&D) and "Swords and Star-men" (Metamorphosis Alpha) and joethelawyer's AD&D/OSRIC conversion of "Red Hand of Doom" - and is likely to have more in 2010.
NY/New York City
- The Second Annual Dave Arneson Memorial Gameday will be held at the Compleat Strategist in Manhattan on Saturday, March 27th, at the climax of the International Traditional Gaming Week.
- New York Red Box organizes old-school RPG sessions that meet in public spaces in Manhattan and are always open to new players. The next session of the White Sandbox (OD&D) campaign is Saturday, Jan. 23th, with the next Glantri (Red Box Basic D&D) likely to be Thursday, Feb. 4th.
- Recess is a quarterly gameday in Brooklyn that usually features one or more old-school games; recent gamedays have had sessions of Original D&D, Mutant Future, and Tunnels & Trolls. The next Recess is a special two-day event on January 30 and 31.
